Kegeling

This is the Austrian version of ten pin bowling, but much more fun! Groups are divided up into teams. It all starts of in a civil manner; however, as your Snowslippers' representative changes the rules somewhat things liven up very quickly. Ever tried bowling under your legs, or by using your wrong hand? Every time someone misses all of the skittles a forefeit is given.

Tobogganing

The entire evening is closely supervised by Snowslippers' representatives who provide traditional warming Austrian drinks to the adults. We can also provide hot chocolate for the youngsters.

Shopping

St Johann, when covered in snow is a beautiful - almost Christmas card perfect - place to explore. A little retail therapy is always a good for the soul and the school children love looking for and choosing gifts for their friends and family back home.

St Johann recently had a major addition to its already extensive combination of shops with the opening of considerately designed shopping centre, which contains a wealth of shops from the modern to the traditional.

Shopping trips can be arranged to Salzburg or Zell am See, however, these trips usually call for ski lessons to be finished at lunch time.

Presentation evening

On the penultimate day of your ski trip, all pupils take part in the Red White Red highly competitive race day.

All participants are given a certificate and have the opportunity to buy a photo of themselves with their ski instructor and their group.

The top three fastest individuals in each group are presented with a medal. The ski school's fastest beginner and the fastest overall skier are both presented with a big cup. During busy weeks, the presentation is extra special as it is held at St Johann's Town Hall where it is televised onto large screens.
